Emotional Management – training course in Spain

CALL FOR PARTICIPANTS: TRAINING COURSE IN SPAIN

Date of project: 17th to 23rd November
Number of UK participants: 2
Deadline to apply: 31st August

Emotional Management is a training course, targeted to educators and multipliers (such as adult education staff, youth workers or special pedagogues). It will last 8 days and it will be carried out in Cantabria (Spain).

During this course, we will work to know and identify the emotions and to acquire knowledge, skills and attitudes to work on emotional issues. It will also allow us to share and improve our perspective on the different Key Actions, and to trigger the development of future collaborative projects under the Erasmus+ Programme.

The methodology of the course will be participative, including theoretical and practical aspects about emotions.

The three main goals, in which the activity programme is based, are:

• Promoting a better understanding of emotions and offering the proper knowledge and tools for their management
• Exchanging good practices about the emotional management
• Developing programmes and ideas, so as to collaborate in the future, in possible KA1, KA2 and KA3 actions

Regarding the impact of the project, we expect that participants will improve their capacity to identify feelings and emotions, and their ability to manage them, and help others to do so. That will lead to an easier communication, to a better psychosocial well-being, and will make them multipliers of that knowledge.

The emotional management is a special effective tool in preventing social exclusion of disadvantaged groups. Also is a transversal tool, that can be applied in any kind of project and can benefit to all the collectives which use it (children, young people, adults, etc.), to a regional, national and international levels.

There will be 35 participants in this training course from different countries: United Kingdom, Finland, Lithuania, Italy, Turkey, Bulgaria and Portugal.
